Black Saturday Anniversary

Happy New Year to you all!

How bad am I?  I haven't posted since prior to Christmas.  I dunno what I'm doing, but it's taking all my time to do it.

Today we have just been quiet and remembered those who lost so much a year ago.  Was supposed to go to a Memorial Service in Kinglake.  Our eldest son (Ryan, got caught in his car in the fire), was forming part of the word 'Thank You' on the Kinglake Football Oval.  He joined the SES after the fires.  I declined to go.  I just couldn't face the familiar faces  and contemplate the faces that were missing.

Anyways, I flew our flag at half mast and did my own personal Memorial Service.
